Frequently asked questions

1. What makes these products genuinely healthier?

Minimal processing. Heat, chemical treatment, and refining degrade nutrients. A2 ghee preserves fat-soluble vitamins. Natural sweeteners retain minerals that refined sugar strips out. Pink salt skips the anti-caking chemicals in table salt. Less done to the food means more left for you.

2. What is A2 Gir Cow Ghee and why does it matter?

A2 refers to the beta-casein protein in milk from indigenous Gir cows, easier to digest than A1 protein from crossbred cows. The ghee is made using the traditional bilona (hand-churn) method, which preserves vitamins A, D, E, K2 and butyric acid, a key compound for gut health. It also has a high smoke point (~250°C), making it ideal for high-heat cooking.

3. Are natural sweeteners better than regular sugar?

Meaningfully, yes. Refined sugar is 99.9% sucrose with zero nutrients. Jaggery retains iron, magnesium, and potassium. Coconut sugar has a glycemic index of ~35 vs. sugar's ~65, it raises blood sugar more gradually, reducing cravings. Raw honey has enzymes and antimicrobial compounds. All still need to be used in moderation

4. How is pink salt better than regular table salt?

Table salt is 97–99% sodium chloride plus chemical anti-caking agents. Pink Himalayan salt contains 84 trace minerals and no additives. The mineral quantities per serving are small, but it's a cleaner, less processed product with a milder, more nuanced taste.

5. How do I actually use these products daily?

Use A2 ghee in place of butter or refined oil for tadka, rotis, or on rice. Swap refined sugar for jaggery in chai or desserts (use 3:4 ratio - jaggery is slightly less sweet). Add moringa powder to dal or rice. Mix chia seeds into yogurt or oats. None of this requires changing how you cook, just what you reach for.

6. Are these products chemical-free?

Yes. No synthetic additives, artificial preservatives, or flavor enhancers. A2 ghee is clarified from naturally sourced milk. Natural sweeteners are minimally processed. Pink salt is extracted from ancient deposits and minimally refined.

7. Can these help with weight management?

Yes, when used in the right quantities. Quality fats like A2 ghee promote satiety and prevent the blood sugar crashes that lead to snacking. Natural sweeteners with lower glycemic indices reduce the cycle of cravings. Superfoods like chia seeds add bulk without significant calories. The key with ghee: 1–2 teaspoons per meal is therapeutic, excess is still excess

8. How do I add superfoods without overcomplicating my diet?

Add them to things you already eat. A teaspoon of moringa powder in dal or rice. Chia seeds in overnight oats or yogurt. Flaxseed powder kneaded into atta. Ashwagandha stirred into warm milk with turmeric. 30 seconds of effort, nearly invisible in flavour, consistency at low doses beats occasional high doses every time.

9. How do I store A2 ghee and natural sweeteners?

Ghee: airtight glass jar at room temperature for 3–6 months, refrigerator for up to 12 months. Always use a dry spoon, even a drop of water shortens its life significantly. Jaggery: airtight container in a dry spot (it absorbs moisture fast). Raw honey: keeps indefinitely when sealed and dry. Pink salt: shelf-stable as long as it stays dry.

10. Are these safe for children and older adults?

Yes, with one exception: don't give raw honey to children under 12 months due to the risk of botulism. A2 ghee is excellent for children, fat-soluble vitamins support brain development. For older adults, vitamin K2 in A2 ghee supports bone health. Introduce superfoods gradually for children.
